The NVNR hotel, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, is connected by walkway to AmericasMart. But because the campus is very large and easily overwhelming to newcomers, NVNR has scheduled a docent-led tour for booksellers interested in expanding their gift and sidelines inventory. The tour will be led by booksellers familiar with AmericasMart and experienced in navigating its many showrooms. Booksellers will be able to register as buyers so they will receive news about new vendors and upcoming exhibitions. There will be bus transportation to the tour starting point, but a fair amount of walking will be necessary.
The NVNR AmericasMart tour takes place on Wednesday, August 6 from 12:30 – 4:00 PM. There is no charge for the tour, but a ticket is required. Booksellers can sign up for the tour when they register for the conference.
