The quarterly Owners Retreats and Strategy Sessions bring store owners from NAIBA and SIBA together to network and share information. Strategy Sessions are virtual meetings held in January, May, and October, focusing on a specific topic. Retreats are in-person and held during the Annual Conference.

One of the primary goals of every New Voices New Rooms conference is to foster connections between booksellers and exhibitors. Both SIBA and NAIBA have experienced strong membership growth in the last year, with many new members and new store owners. The conference features an updated event platform and fully functional attendee app that makes it easy for attendees to connect and schedule one-on-one meetings with vendors and with each other.
