New Voices New Rooms has always celebrated genre in its commitment to title discovery for booksellers. Often the most joyful, or most terrifying, section in the store, genre books are also the fastest-growing, fastest-selling section, with many avid readers among booksellers.

NVNR Invokes Communal Responsibilities

When New Voices New Rooms announced its Accessibility Policy in early July, the focus was on its responsibilities, the things the conference was doing to remove barriers for people to participate. In particular, the conference has created an Accessibility Pass, available without any gatekeeping, to allow an attendee to go to the front of lines for signings or meals.

In its Accessibility Policy NVNR also outlines "Communal Responsibilities," the things conference attendees should do to support accessible space for their colleagues.
