NVNR NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
May is an important month for booksellers thinking of applying for a grant or scholarship to attend New Voices New Rooms in Baltimore. Both NAIBA and SIBA offer grants and scholarships for their member stores to help defray the costs of attending the conference, but application deadlines vary depending on the grant and the association. However, a number of scholarship application deadlines close on May 15th, and most grants and scholarships are closed by June 1st.
Both NAIBA and SIBA are committed to helping booksellers attend the NVNR by doing what they can to mitigate rising costs of travel. Booksellers are advised to apply for any scholarship they are eligible for.
