The quarterly Owners Retreats and Strategy Sessions bring store owners from NAIBA and SIBA together to network and share information. Strategy Sessions are virtual meetings held in January, May, and October, focusing on a specific topic. Retreats are in-person and held during the Annual Conference.

The NVNR Annual Conference and Tradeshow for booksellers members of both NAIBA and SIBA organizations serves sixteen states in the mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States. The conference travels within the combined NAIBA and SIBA regions and is open to all SIBA and NAIBA members.

Sunday, August 2, we will take you to a wide variety of bookstores in Baltimore, including a PW Bookstore of the Year finalist, Greedy Reads. After the store visits, and before the opening reception, we’ll gather all the first-time conference attendees for an orientation and an ask-me-anything. I learn something new every year! Then we will get to meet dozens of authors in the opening reception.
