NVNR Poll: Publicity Speed Dating

Publicity Speed Dating is the popular event, conceived by NAIBA, where booksellers looking to expand their event program can meet with publicists one-on-one to share their publicity kit and “pitch” their store as a good partner for author events. It is an invaluable opportunity for booksellers and publicists to make connections and put themselves on each other’s radar.

Currently, NAIBA holds an in-person Publicity Speed Dating event for their member stores every spring, and NVNR hosts a virtual version on Zoom in early summer for SIBA and NAIBA members.

Space is necessarily limited at each event, bookseller interest is always very high, and title discovery and finding authors for store event programs consistently rate as priorities for conference attendees, so the NVNR Team has created a poll for booksellers and exhibitors on the possibility of holding an in-person Publicity Speed Dating event during the 2026 annual conference.
