For Booksellers: Grants, Rebates, and Scholarships

New Voices New RoomsNew Voices New Rooms is committed to helping bookstores attend the 2025 conference in Atlanta in August. Attending a conference is a big commitment of both time and money, especially in the current economy. But NVNR can also be one of the most cost effective and profitable things a bookstore does, in terms of connections made with vendors, authors brought in for store events, and new and unique books and products to enhance 4th quarter sales.

Here is what NVNR is doing to help booksellers mitigate the costs of attending

  1. Early bird pricing: Booksellers receive a $50 discount on full event passes. Normally $300, a full event pass is $250 through April.
  2. Day passes: Available to booksellers only! Bookstores within driving distance of the conference, or with limited available time to attend, can purchase day passes for $115 per day.
  3. Meals are included: Passes include any breakfast and lunch in the program schedule, as well as any scheduled coffee breaks and snack bars.
  4. Travel Grants: NVNR awards 12 travel grants of $500 — 6 for bookstores in each of the NAIBA and SIBA regions. Apply
  5. SIBA/NAIBA grants: Both organizations offer grants and scholarships for their member stores to help defray the costs of attending the conference.
