For Exhibitors: New Voices New Rooms Focus on Title Discovery

New Voices New RoomsNearly 100 booksellers from over 50 bookstores have already registered for the 2025 New Voices New Rooms conference in Atlanta since registration opened on April 4th. Marking the strongest early sign up since New Voices New Rooms’ first event in 2020.

Title discovery is a major focus of the NVNR conference. The program’s innovative approach includes a place for all the different members of the bookselling industry to talk to each other about their favorite new titles: authors (panels and receptions), editors (reception), sales reps (Pick of the List, exhibit floor), and booksellers (Genre Buzz Lunch).

Here are some of the key title discovery-focused events at NVNR 2025:

Rep Pick of the List ($350)
Fun and speedy rep talk about new titles they want booksellers to love and put into the hands of their customers. Publisher reps get 5 minutes to pitch some of their favorite books of the upcoming season. Space is very limited, and only one rep per publisher allowed. Request a spot

Focus on Editors Reception ($450)
An evening reception designed to let booksellers meet the people responsible for bringing some of their favorite books into print. This is a chance for editors to talk about their current projects with booksellers excited to hear the stories behind the stories.

Genre Buzz Lunch ($50 per listing)
Bookseller-driven discussions of favorite and forthcoming genre books during lunch on Monday, 8/4. Each featured genre includes a title list handout and dedicated Edelweiss collection link. Booksellers can sit at a table with their fellow genre enthusiasts, pour over their lists and mark the books they want to find the next day on the exhibit floor.

Title discovery events are scheduled not to conflict with other programming, and have some of the highest bookseller attendance in the program. Visit the NVNR Exhibitors Hub for information on table rentals, author submissions, and hotel reservations.
