NVNR Introduces $1000 Exhibit Hall Buyers Raffle
New for 2026, New Voices New Rooms is introducing the NVNR Exhibit Hall Buyers Raffle, where every order placed at the conference earns a chance to win a $1000 cash prize. Bookstores receive tickets from exhibitors when they place an order on site. The drawing will be held at the end of the day before the exhibit hall closes and two bookstores — one from the NAIBA region and one from the SIBA region — will each win a $1000 cash prize. The exhibitors who issue the winning tickets will also receive a $1000 discount on their exhibit table reservation for next year’s conference in 2027.
Designed to encourage bookstores to place orders while they are at the conference, the Buyers Raffle draws its inspiration from similar initiatives in past association tradeshows. The substantial prize encourages booksellers and exhibitors to connect with each other, and motivates bookstores to place more of their 4th quarter orders while they are at the conference.

The fine print:
Contest open to bookstore members in good standing with their regional association. Tickets are given out by exhibitors at their discretion after an order is completed. No consideration necessary. Prizes are awarded to the bookstore, not individuals. Winners must be present at the time of drawings (4pm Tuesday, August 4 in the exhibit hall). All decisions concerning the administration of the raffle are made by New Voices New Rooms and all such decisions are final. Taxes are the responsibility of the winners.
